The CAE-045-C Ceramic Coated BBC Turbo Headers are built for custom Big Block Chevy (BBC) turbocharger projects that demand maximum durability, efficient exhaust flow, and a compact forward-facing design. Engineered for 396, 402, 427, 454, 496, 502, and 572 Big Block Chevy engines, these headers provide an ideal foundation for custom turbo fabrication, engine swaps, race builds, and high-performance street applications.

Constructed from precision mandrel-bent tubing, each header features 2.25-inch primary tubes that merge into oversized 3.5-inch V-band collectors, positioning the outlets up and forward for simplified turbocharger placement and custom exhaust routing. This forward-facing configuration helps maximize available engine bay space, making it well suited for applications where traditional rear-exit headers create clearance challenges.

Every header is assembled using TIG-welded joints and CNC-machined 5/16-inch thick flanges to provide excellent sealing, structural strength, and long-term reliability under repeated heat cycles. The heavy-duty flange design helps minimize warping while maintaining a secure connection between the cylinder head and header.

A durable silver semi-gloss ceramic coating provides more than an attractive finish. It helps reduce radiant heat within the engine compartment, improves corrosion resistance, and maintains a cleaner appearance compared to bare or polished stainless steel, which often discolors after prolonged exposure to high exhaust temperatures. The ceramic finish also contributes to improved thermal management in demanding turbocharged environments.
