Long Tube Headers for LS Swaps Black Aluminized Thermal Barrier Coatin

CAE-032 long tube headers are engineered specifically for LS swap applications in classic Chevy and GMC square body trucks and SUVs. Designed to fit both 2WD and 4WD chassis, these headers support reliable installation, improved exhaust flow, and long-term durability in demanding builds.

This configuration fits 1973–1987 Chevy and GMC C/K10–20 pickups, as well as 1988–1991 square body Blazer, Jimmy, and Suburban models that retained the square body chassis. These headers are not designed for OBS GMT400 trucks or factory LS vehicles.

Each set features 1 3/4 inch mandrel-bent primary tubes flowing into 3 inch merge collectors to improve scavenging, throttle response, and mid-range power. Thick 3/8 inch CNC-machined flanges and precision TIG-welded joints help prevent warping and leaks under heat cycling.

The black aluminized thermal barrier coating provides corrosion resistance while reducing under-hood temperatures, making it ideal for tight engine bays and long-term street or performance use.

This kit includes MLS gaskets and header bolts, providing a superior seal and faster installation compared to standard fiber gasket setups.
