Certified Automotive Experts CAE-009-C ceramic coated exhaust headers are engineered as a direct replacement for factory cast iron exhaust manifolds found on select Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac full-size trucks and SUVs equipped with LS-based V8 engines. These headers are built from durable 304 stainless steel and feature 1-5/8 inch mandrel-bent primary tubes designed to improve exhaust flow compared to restrictive factory manifolds while maintaining factory-style fitment. Precision TIG-welded seams and 3/8 inch thick laser-cut flanges help ensure a secure seal at the cylinder heads and long-term reliability under demanding operating conditions. The CAE-009-C version is finished with a high-temperature ceramic coating that helps manage exhaust heat, reduce surface corrosion, and protect nearby engine bay components. This coating is intended for durability and longevity in daily-driven vehicles, work trucks, and towing applications where heat control and consistent performance matter. The passenger-side outlet uses a ball-and-socket beveled flange designed to connect to factory Y-pipes that use a donut-style gasket. This configuration is standard on most 2002–2013 GM LS truck and SUV platforms; however, some vehicles may be equipped with a flat flange on the right side. Vehicles with flat flanges are not compatible with this header design. These headers are compatible with factory-style cylinder heads and standard exhaust configurations and are intended as a straightforward bolt-on replacement for worn or restrictive factory manifolds. They are not compatible with 1999–2001 GM trucks or 2014 and newer Gen V LT-series engines.
